UniCredit, is a pan European bank based in Italy with approximately 40 million customers and 9,500 branches in 22 countries making Unicredit the largest international banking network in the Central and Eastern Europe. UniCredit worked with AWS partner, Scube NewMedia, to create an advanced web and mobile application built entirely on AWS. The service matches proprietary business data with geographic information to create UniCredit Locator, which is an application which helps customers find the financial institution's offices, branches, and ATMs.

Scube NewMedia, an Italian Information and Communication Technology company, specializes in creating advanced web and mobile applications. Scube’s applications cover a wide variety of business interests, including enterprise collaboration, enterprise search, video, and cloud services. In addition, the company has extensive experience in geospatial technology and is certified to develop applications using the Google Maps platform.
GeoCMS is one of Scube’s primary geospatial solutions. This software-as-a-service is able to match proprietary business data with Google Maps geographic information. GeoCMS helps businesses create applications such as store locators, geomarketing, and outdoor tracking.
In 2009, Scube built GeoCMS with Amazon Web Services (AWS), after considering a variety of other cloud service providers. Scube chose AWS because it offers affordability combined with performance, scalability, and easy management. Most importantly, the company was looking for a cloud service provider it can rely upon during future growth.
